During 2022, teachers from the schools of Mendavia, San Adrián and Basoko, Baroja, Larraintzar and IESO del Camino Secondary schools have travelled to Portugal.

- Agrupamento Escolas Ibn-Mucana, Alcabideche
- Agrupamento de escolas Gil Eanes, Lagos
- Agrupamento de Escolas Sá de Miranda, Braga
- Agrupamento de Escolas Quinta de Marrocos, Lisboa
Strenghts:
- Co-teaching in many lessons
- Semester assembly between the delegates of each class with the principal
- Optional homework
- Outdoor classes
- Interdisciplinary projects carried out in groups
- Self assessment in group projects
- Gardens at school and High Schools
- Psychologists in schools. They carry out different kind of therapy for example one therapy through golf with different type of students ( students with special needs , unmotivated student, students from disadvantaged families).
- Flexible curriculum. 25% of the curriculum can be designed by schools if they have an innovative project.
- Every space is educational
- Participation of local entities with students ( agrupamento de escolas de Carcavelos).
